hi ALL

i have this problem in SQL

the scenario

i have a table where there is a date col, target col and definition col

the requirment is to get the records or target for definition number 42, 44, 55 where the date is max

every definition number will have many records with diff date

so i want the records with the latest date

Thanks on advance

also can any body tell me what do use in teradata sql in place of

(select top 10 clause) from sql server
