data_encryption=Y / data_encryption=N

Is only supported by 7.1 CLI. Since you installed the TTU 7.1 client then there shouldn't be a problem.

Please verify the installation is correct. from BTEQ run

.show version

and look for

CLIV2 : 04.07.01.24

if you are not seeing the 7.1 version of CLI it may not be installed correctly.

If you are seeing the correct CLIV2 and the problem still occurs contact your NCR support representative.
