I cant exactly duplicate your versions but the following combination seems to work OK:

DBS     04.01.03.22
ODBC    03.03.00.03
SQLA    06.02.00.01 or 06.02.00.00

Of course you may have different preferences set in SQLA that might effect the test.

Do you get this error when you submit a query? Or try to expand the Tree? SQLA has no direct control over the message size so I would open a ticket against the ODBC driver if problem persists.
