I'd say that in this scenario the query would fail. I think so because JI are not a part of the "front office" logical model; they are
invisible "back office" clerks. If the table becomes unavailable due to an AMP failure or anything else, the database will have to fail the query
due to the lack of integrity in the "front office".
All other factors you mentioned are valid but the first trouble will be the lack of database integrity beyond which TD won't go. This is just
my guess. I did not have a chance to test this.
