Hello All, I would like to capture the error message when an exception occurs in a stored procedure. When handling exceptions, the codes are contained in :SQLCODE and :SQLSTATE. From previous posts on the forum, I discovered the message for :SQLCODE can be found in table DBC.ERRORMSGS. However, the messages on this table often contain parameters. For instance, the following is an example message from DBC.ERRORMSGS: 'Column %FSTR not found in %VSTR.' Does a good way exist to identify the dynamic message at run time - in other words, for the example above, identify %FSTR and %VSTR? Thanks for any assistance, Jeff
