Users of our Teradata DB are constantly running out of spool space - we are advised by the DB manager that our queries are too
complex/inefficient. However, queries that may take 20 minutes will often run other times for 3 hours and then run out of spool space. Given
that there is no additional load on the system that can explain this, what suggestions may I make to our Teradata DB manager to avoid spool space
issues for our users.
