Hi Craig,

If you are running V2R5 you can collect statistics on COLUMN(BRANCH_ID,STATUS) and see if that makes a difference however I suspect that it may not. I tested similar queries on some pretty large tables in our DWH and found the same type of explain, however the confidence level for rows was high. Interesting!
