One aspect remaining uncovered is precision. EXP is a fast growing function so a little "delta" in its argument may lead to a rather
significant difference in the result. I think when applying the formula one has to take a special care about precision of the EXP argument,
including the LN() used there. I would not use the formula without prior testing on production volumes and tuning to the precision level required
in each particular case.
