Subj:   Admin Comment: New worm making the rounds

From:   John Hall

As some of you might already know, there's a new worm making the rounds (the Bagle.J virus).

The note will have a spoofed address coming from:

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

The TeradataForum does not use the above addresses. Should you receive something from one of these addresses, just delete it.

FWIW: Since it appears that it's going to be a busy week for viruses, I imagine that e-mail traffic will be slow. I noticed some notes having several hours of delay yesterday.

In addition, I'm receiving a lot of spam and viruses. Some of it comes with a blank subject line. I now delete (unopened) anything coming with a blank subject line. Please, if you send a note to me or the TeradataForum, please be sure to use an appropriate subject line. If you don't, it's unlikely that I'll see your note.

John
