All,

I'm totally confused with the terminology that's been used in documentation to calculate the efficiency of compression .

1)table_header_space = no:amps * sum(field_size-col)

where field_size-col is no:of table header bytes used by the compressed column + 1

What is this "table header bytes used by compressed column " , where can I get this info ? , is this same as column length

2) row_header_space = table_cardinality * (presence_octets -1)

how to calculate "presence octets" ? where can I get this info ?

Any help with example would be highly appreciated
