Well formulated. The feature did not always behave in the expected way even in V2R4. To formulate the requirement in the most generic form -
take advantage of derived tables - would be to send the vendor on a mission impossible. Perhaps you could specify special cases when you are sure
that TD really uses derived tables consistently and ask the vendor to implement those? Would be still a lot of work for them.
