Hi, It's not on the Teradata system, TDPID is a client system concept. It will be on your PC, Unix box, mainframe etc. Also, a single Teradata system can be referenced using multiple (different) TDPId values. On a PC/Unix box, look in your hosts file. There should be one or more entries coded like "1.2.3.4 xxxcop1" 1.2.3.4 is the ip address cop1 is a required literal 9although there may be cop2, cop3 etc) xxx is the tdpid of the Teradata system from THIS pc/unix box.
