I haven't done this for awhile and quite a few new members have been added:

I maintain a separate distribution list for those people who would like to receive job opportunities. Activity can range from a few notes per week to months of silence.

If you would like to be added to the Jobs List, please send me a note directly (and not on the List):

If you've forgotten whether you already belong to the Jobs List, the last post to the Jobs List was sent on Friday (20 Feb). If you received it, then you're on the List. If you would like to be removed, please send me a note.

The opportunities are sent to the TeradataForum by employers, recruiters, etc. Once the information that is requested on the website is satisfied (and be warned that there's no way that I can verify it), I forward the opportunity to the Jobs distribution list. This is done for the benefit of those TeradataForum members who are interested (and to help keep recruiters from posting to the List). Other than forwarding the opportunity, I'm in no way involved with the recruitment. If you have questions or comments, contact the recruiter directly.

Obviously, if you want to sign-up for the Jobs List, be sure to send me an address where you can receive such notes. If you used your work address to sign-up to the TeradataForum, then you might want to use some other address (free ISPs will be accepted, ie- Hotmail, Yahoo, etc).

At the same time, if your organization is looking for people (whether permanent, temporary or contract), have the person who is doing the recruiting check our website (URL above).

The instructions on the website are simple and if they aren't followed, I won't forward the opportunity.

There is no charge/finder fee for distributing an opportunity to the Jobs List. I will not forward notes from organizations which are just engaging in general recruitment - the opportunity has to be reasonably specific. Whether an opportunity is forwarded is at my discretion.
