When you restart Teradata the AMP that was previously in the Fatal state will automatically enter a "catchup mode" while tables are
synchronized with the online AMP. If you start the Recovery Manager Utility, then you can monitor the progress of the down AMP recovery. The AMP
will recover and return to an online status without starting this utility.
Have you tried to restart Teradata?
