We've just implemented V2R188.8.131.52 on our test box and so far so good. Upgrade went smoothly with no hiccups but this is a small test box (4- node 5250).
The only thing that we've fallen foul of so far is that we were not aware that the new encrypted logons come set on as standard. This caused us a small problem as one of our tests is the use of older client software against the new version of RDBMS. All failed because "Deprecated logons not allowed" (Great error message - caused a few people to scratch their heads!) This is easily fixed by turning off encrypted logons in the Gateway Control.
Also, we were a little surprised when we restored a V2R4 archive and the job ended with a warning that we would have to re-run the conversion scripts. However this is only relevant to triggers.
Testing continues - we will let you know if we come across anything else.
