Subj:   Re: QueryMan Performance???

From:   Mandoda, Hamesh

In the ODBC administrator go to the Tracing tab and ensure that ODBC tracing is turned off. If the button says "Start Tracing Now" then it means it is already turned off and it is another issue. But if it says "Stop Tracing Now" click it and then try your query again.

Out of curiosity - did you try running the same query in BTEQ to see if the response time is the same???

I am using queryman version 5.2 and ODBC for Teradata version 3.0. All of a sudden starting today I experience very huge degradation in the performance only in returning the result set into my answer-window. What used to take few seconds now take hours.. any clues... Please help me out.... Thanks Sankar
