We are experiencing a problem in a cobol program where the symbolic host variable is showing up as a ? in the open cursor. We are running V2R5
and have gone through a machine upgrade in the past week. Prior to the upgrade this module executed. If we hardcode the value into the sql the
open cursor works. When we run the query in queryman or a stored procedure it executes. The program has other cursors that open. This is
perplexing!
