There's currently a virus going around and it spoofs its origin.

Normally it would have been filtered by LSoft, but since it came as text, it was broadcast to the membership (sadly, the software can't tell the difference between useful text and garbage text<g>). FWIW: Since the Lurker List is a separate list, I delete it before it can be forwarded on that list.

It's certainly possible (maybe probable) that we could see more of these notes.

I don't know about anybody else, but I've already received more than 220 of the notes since yesterday afternoon. In addition, I'm also getting a lot of errors where some of the notes have spoofed the TeradataForum and are being bounced back to me. It might take some time to filter-out the relevant notes.
