Hi

I have experienced a problem with fastexport when I get the following message:

UTY8713 RDBMS failure, 6706: The string contains an untranslatable character.

However, when I run the same query in Queryman 6.0.0, it works fine.

We are running:

   Teradata v2.r4.01
   MVS Fastexport, version 07.06.01.000

Does anyone have any ideas as to what causes this error message to occur in Fastexport but not in Queryman? Also, if there are offending records, are there any methods available to identify what these rows?

Any help would be appreciated.
