There are times when we can identify periods of slow response on our system, Either from the cries of our users, or CPU/AMP usage
utilities. What we have trouble doing is identifying the specific session/user/query/process, singularly or as a group, that is the cause
of the slowdown.
I would appreciate any suggestions for Teradata or Unix tools or techniques that you have used to discover the cause of these problems.
We are on V2R3, so any tools specific to a newer version may not be available.
