I would think that when 'NEW YORK' is correctly equated to 'NEW YORK ' in a CHAR Column then '%YORK' should also be equated to 'NEW YORK
'... So I guess this can be considered as a valid bug. If ANSI SQL were to append blank while comparing CHAR strings that should also
apply to wild card comparisons. So my vote -- this is a BUG
