One caveat I've found with using WinDDI to do this, is with copying tables that have the same name as the database it's in, e.g. PERSONS.PERSONS Checking the generated SQL, the application seems to be parsing the results of the preceeding show table incorrectly (in order to capture the DDL), and substituting the databasename in twice. This is probably a bug in Teradata Administrator. (N.B. this occurs on WinDDI, and Teradata Administrator). Aside from that, both methods should do the trick. Cheers, Mark
