Mark,
the problem I have with using ARC is that we would not be archiving the full dictionary from server A just a subset, we would then want
to restore this partial DBC archive to server B. Server B could hold other databases not on server A that we would wish to keep. I suppose
we could archive the whole of server A and restore the DBC of just those databases & contents we want the DDL for. Can you do a partial
DBC restore? without corrupting what is there.
