Queryman / SQL Assistant will display/store the total number of rows that matched your query if you are using version 5.1.1 or higher. Prior to that it displayed/stored the number of rows actually returned to the application. (This assumes you are refering to Select statements.)

The above applies ONLY to databases (Teradata is the only one I know of) that provide this information. If you are running against DB2, Oracle, SQLServer, etc. it will still display only the number of rows actually returned.
