The Teradata/ANSI mode is set through the ODBC DSN options. Use the ODBC Administrator (From Control Panel or from the Tools, Define Data Source menu in Queryman) to select the mode. Warning - if you select ANSI mode string comparisons will be case specific unless you specifically overide that in the query SQL. For example, if you want a none specific name comparison you would have to do something like: Select * from PhoneList where LastName = 'Dempsey'(NOT CS) This applies EVEN IF LastName is defined as NOT CaseSpecific. [I dont know what the ANSI folks were smoking when they made that decision... but that's the rules.] Mike Dempsey
