Thomas, When you define the DSN entry, you can populate the "Account String" field of the ODBC Driver Setup screen (Windows) or the ODBC.INI file (UNIX). This account will be passed in for any connections that use this DSN. If you have other applications that should not get the high priority, you can create a different DSN entry that leaves the "Account String" blank. A blank Account String should default to the user's default account. This approach can work for 3rd party BI tools that don't understand, or prompt for, the Teradata account. It looks like you are actually writing the ODBC program and can construct the connection string. I don't have first hand experience coding this, but ACCOUNT is the correct keyword to use according to the ODBC Driver for Teradata User Guide (p. 4-30). God Luck! Jerry
