An interesting thought. Going back a few years, the DB2 loader was indeed that - Basic. Hence the number of third parties that supplied
better load utilities - at a cost.
Not sure I would call either Fastload, Mload or Tpump basic. If they were that basic with the CLI api published I think all users would
have written their own inhouse basic loaders by now.
