Maybe I'm just a cynic, but...

You may not see a line item on your invoice for the SQL Server utilities mentioned below (or equivalents from Oracle etc) but you will still have paid for them.

A number of years ago, a lot of the Teradata customers I worked with complained about having too many products that they needed to buy and were very happy when NCR created 'bundles' of those products. It made things a lot easier. But you can't please all of the people etc etc
