Ruth, A note on node load balancing, Some customers have implemented LAN load balancing architecture E.g. all users go via a DNS entry, that entry is a single IP that goes to a CISCO router that then round robins the requests to all the nodes. It does not work out that one session might be doing more work than another. The other thing with this solution is that if node is down you get a long delay in getting connected via Host or alternative IP connections while the first request times out. The Cisco router knows that that thee IP is down and re-routes Cheers John
