I've recently worked with "that tool". I accept the cookie cutter multiload that it produces, but actually permanently make it into a script (from the TgtFiles dir). Said script can shorten those names (ET, UV, WT, MLDLOG) and also redirect those work tables into a separate database from the target table. Another benefit is load restartability.

The mapping target then becomes a physical file. This is followed by a command task in the WorkFlow manager that calls the script.

I didn't discover a tool method to customize the multiload to my content.
