Does anyone know if ASCII means ISO-8859-1 or is it ISO-646-US? In the V2R4 documentation the Euro character is mapped from ASCII to Unicode from 0xFF to U+20AC. Since the Euro doesn't exist in US-ASCII has Teradata implemented a hybrid or ISO-8859-15?
