Subj:   Re: PM API MONITOR SESSION bug?

From:   Dempsey, Mike

The documentation used to be incorrect (a long time ago) but it has probably been corrected by now.

The input to MONITOR SESSION should be

IndByte BYTE
VersionId SMALLINT
LogicalHostId SMALLINT
SesionNo INTEGER
UserName CHAR(30)

The IndByte contains the indicator bits (If you are using Indicator mode) that specify which fields are to be treated as Null.

To indicate that you have specified Version, LogicalHost and SessionNo the IndByte field would contain the following binary value '00011111'.

To indicate that you have specified Version, LogicalHost and UserName the IndByte field would contain the following binary value '00101111'.

I have not tested this feature for many releases ... but it used to work many moons ago.
