If this user us permanently logged on the previous responses (dynamically changing the priority) would be correct. If you are talking about a user id that is submitting many separate jobs - some daytime and some night time - then you can simply change your logon string for the daytime sessions. During night time simply logon without any account string specified. This will default to $M since that is what is defined in the users Account string. During the day supply the account string in the logon statement - this time specifying $L. The daytime logon would be: Logon It is always easier to use the more complex format (with the account string) in batch jobs, so if the user is interactive during the day and batch at night you might want to use a slightly more complex setup... Define the user with an account string of "('$LTEST', '$MTEST')". This makes the $L account the default but still allows you to specify $M. During the day logon with no account specified. During the night specify the '$MTEST' account during logon. Mike Dempsey
