<-- Anonymously Posted: Wednesday, May 07, 2003 15:04 --> Hello Ganga, I tried "CREATE TABLE T (I TIMESTAMP)" but the default precision is 6. In any case creating the table without precision and then querying it still gave me that error message. I use Teradata SQL Assistant 6.1, The session mode in ODBC DSN is ANSI and Date format is 'AAA'. The strange thing is it works fine if the column is DATE and I use current_date in the SELECT clause as below CREATE TABLE T ( I DATE) Thoughts?
