Is there a way with the Teradata ODBC driver to specify the Default Role to be used for that session? As you know V2R5 allows a user to be granted multiple rows and even a default role that is used when a SET ROLE statement does not precede the DML/DDL request. However, I have not found anywhere in the current GUI frontend for the ODBC driver a place where I can specify which role I want to use for the session I am about to open. Is this something that I can (or have to) specify in an ODBC connection string used in custom applications with DAO/ADO connections? Also, will the load/unload utilities (including Builder) allow the user to specify which role to use much like they can specify an account now? Regards, Rob Paller
