You could set up a priority scheduler (PSF) penalty box Allocation Group. This could be limited the group to a very low percentage of
CPU using he ABS setting. You then modify the account string of the offending queries to move it into them into this group. As PSF
calculates the CPU on a per node basis the offending queries will be limited despite the hot AMP. They will keep running slowly but the
rest of the system will be protected. You could then change the penalty box group to a DEF setting when there is spare capacity on the
system. These queries would then have a chance to run to completion or blow spool on the hot AMP.
