Hi,

I like to know how to increase multi load load speed?

Following is my situation: I need to load 10 files into 10 different tables using mload each file size is 7GB and it contans 10 millions records

Following are the configurations of my systems

Teradata Server : 16 AMPS Windows machine (4900 machine)
Client : Windows box, 8 cpus and 8GB RAM

Right now i am doing following: I am loading each file, using seperate multi load script and I selected session are MAX 8 and MIN 6 and check point as 50000.

Following are my questions:

1. If i load 10 tables using 2 multi load scripts (each mload script will load 5 tables) will increase the load speed?

2. If i use 16 sessions, does it increase mload speed?

3. If i change checkpoint count from 50000 to 1 million, does it increase multi load speed?
