Hello,

I've been reading through the V2R5.0 release summary and I am a bit confused at some of the terms/concepts that are discussed.

Block-level optimization: There is a whole section on this but it is unclear what block-level optimization actually means (what does "block" actually refer to in this case?)

Block-integration & Constraint Optimization: It talks about these in the section on derived table optimizations but its not clear to me what these things are.

I searched all of the other Teradata documentation but didn't find any other hits on these terms. Does somebody know what these things means off the top of their head (its just for my own curiosity, so I don't want anybody to go to too much trouble).
