Answers to the basic questions, to almost any depth or detail, from both technical and business perspectives can be found at

www.teradata.com...

Teradata CRM can be linked to any customer database implemented on a Teradata platform through Teradata CRM's metadata.

Any Teradata compatible ETL methodology/tool is acceptable as Teradata CRM is only aware of data that exists in the Teradata warehouse and that has been identified to Teradata CRM application through metadata.

Teradata CRM's graphic user interface runs on MS Windows clients (NT, W2K, XP). Teradata CRM processes that execute campaign generation, campaign management, analysis, modeling, reporting, lead delivery channel interfaces, builds/submits/consumes results from SQL queries to Teradata, and other functions run on MS Windows servers.
