Tom,
Thank you for the info - it is much appreciated; espicially, by us TD newbies.
I did realize how the relative weighting works (I think) and that is why I was thinking 100:75 RP0:RP1 - it is close to equal but still
favours, what I will call, "the systems partition" - RP0. I was thinking I could migrate "big bang" or in a phased approach, app by app,
hopefully, transparently to the end-user clients - and then - adjust at weight later if I need. Future phases of this project will involve
using the other RP's (2-4) and the Time-of-day or Resource performance periods.
The last question was related to the fact that I created my "user partition" (RP1) (development) Performance groups - half expecting that
the system would create it's own i.e. I created 8 (L1), 10(M1), 12(H1) and 14(R1) and when I display it after the fact I was expecting to
see 11 (low1), 13(med1), 15 (High1) and 17 (Rush1). I did not see this and that was my question - I assume I have to create the system
performance groups myself or are there system performance groups required beyond the default RP0 partition - I assumed there was??
Thanks for you time.
