Hi:

We have a Dell hardware, and a 2 GB disk array. Need advice on database design. The details is below:

CPU:            4x 2.2 GHz
RAM:            4096 MB
NIC:            2 (100 MBPS/Full Duplex)
O/S:            Windows 2000

Disk array:     2 Ranks
                7 disks / rank (We like to put them in  1 Raid 5/rank)
                146 GB /Disk.

OUr requirement is to support upto 500 connections on a single node. Please advice on the following parameters:

1. Number of AMPS
2. Number of Gateway VPROCs.
Number of PE VPROCS.
