Be aware that if you run an mload in the apply phase with an amp down, then the target table will automatically be rebuilt as part of
down-amp recovery when bringing the amp back up. During this time, the table will be locked exclusively, and it can't be accessed even with
an access lock until the table rebuild is done. Or something like that (it's been awhile since we suffered the pain).
