When you say "delta resusage", how do you obtain that?

select from dbc.ampusage => store values
...
select from dbc.ampusage => store/compare values

or is there a way to get resusage from something other than a select on dbc.ampusage (dbc.acctg)?

Is there some sort of session accumulator that we can access?

The reason I ask is that we have many logins and logouts that apparently add records to the underlying table. When I query the table (select cputime, diskio) from dbc.ampusage where username = ''), the query can take a minute or more to run and, apparently, use 90 secs of CPU time on its own. Updating stats on the table may be part of the answer but I don't have the authority to do that.

We're looking for a faster way to extract this information, so that we can do chargebacks.
