Well, to keep with the spirit of Perl, TMTOWTDI :-) One quick and simple (relative) way to do this, would be use Perl to run your
BTEQ (via system() or backticks) and then fiddle with the output.
Also, I have never used any version of the DBD::Teradata module above the 'free' one, 1.12. But, I am very impressed by the quality and
speed of the code and if I had the chance I would pay Dean for his latest and greatest version of the module.
