I am doing a simple left join on a table: left join mktg_temp.agent x on SBSCR_SETUP_DEALR_CD= x.agent_code and SBSCR_MRKT_CD=x.market_code I am getting this error in Queryman: "3782: Improper column reference in the search condition of a joined table" the tables are joined by two columns. there is a difference between the data definition between one of the joined columns where one column is varchar5 and the other is char6...only a guess. Thanks, Bruce
