Subj:   SQLSTATE in stored procedures

From:   David Wellman

Hi folks,

I'm investigating the use of stored procedures and can't find the values for SQLSTATE documented anywhere. I know for that most of the time I can always record the SQLCODE value which is the Teradata RDBMS error but there are probably situations where that may not be available -- for instance a divide by zero error in SPL code?

Has anyone found this info? Also, is there a documented translation between SQLSTATE and SQLCODE anywhere?

Cheers,

Dave
