Hi All

We are looking at developing an Enterprise wide Metadata Repository which will interface to our existing Erwin models, our Teradata DW and hopefully Data dictionaries on a M204 Operational System and SAP Finance System (SQL Server DB).

I have just read David Marcos book on "Building and Managing the Metadata Repository" which was really great. In it he describes metadata repositories with bi-directional architecture and also closed loop architecture so would like a repository capable of this architecture.

Does any one have any experience with Metadata Repository tools /software.

Can anyone recommend repository software that we should evaluate?. Obviously AllFusion(ERWINs Modelmart) is on the list but what else should we include in a repository evaluation?
