Hi, We have had the exact same problem with Impromptu 6 and 7. We raised this issue with NCR some time ago, but in the mean time found that the new version 3.0.x.x of the ODBC driver was very unstable with the Cognos product set. We reverted back to version 2.8.2.5 and the problem went away. I would suggest that you do the same. We have tested this problem up to version 3.0.1.3 of the ODBC driver with no change. There was alot of discussion on this forum about version 3.1.0.0 being available, but I have so far been unable to get a copy from NCR, to see if this problem still persists. Regards Matthew Winter
