I have seen lots of comments here lately about Windows ODBC drivers. I recommend you contact your NCR rep to obtain the latest Efix level
for whatever version you want to install. Unfortunately, the drivers bundled on the last several TUF/TTU release CDs seem to have major
issues (at least through 6.1.1; haven't tried the one from the current TTU6.2 CD yet).
The 2.08.02.05 or 3.00.01.03 drivers seem to have resolved a number of issues at our site. The 3.x series drivers are better for
"native" ODBC programming but the 2.x drivers are more compatible with Microsoft's MSDASQL "OLE DB provider for ODBC". (Teradata does have a
native OLE DB provider now; haven't tried it yet.)
