I believe this is system specific (where cli is installed). If you logon to ABC/dbc,dbc the parameter will apply to only ABCcopx entries.
It does not matter if you have these cop entries are hardcoded in your hosts file or if they are specified as DNS entries. If you logon to
ABC/dbc,dbc from another system (or shell) where this is not set then you will go through the full lookup.
